Job summary

BSI is seeking a Principal EHS Consultant - Business Growth Leader to drive Southeast region growth across safety, occupational health, and broader EHS services. You will build trusted client relationships, lead high-impact engagements, and mentor regional consulting teams while traveling 30–50% to client sites.

Remote work is available in listed locations with travel up to 50%. You are a senior leader with 15+ years in safety/EHS consulting, possessing a strong business development track record

Qualifications

• 15+ years of consulting in safety, EHS, or risk management within professional services.
• Proven business development and revenue growth experience.
• Strong executive presence with senior client stakeholders.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and scale consulting teams.
• Willingness to travel 30–50% across client sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop a regional growth strategy focused on Southeast safety/EHS consulting.
• Build and grow a personal and regional book of business.
• Identify, pursue, and win new opportunities; lead proposals and pricing.
• Advise clients on safety management systems, regulatory compliance, and risk.
• Lead complex engagements with delivery excellence across scope, schedule, budget, quality.
• Collaborate with national service lines to expand multidisciplinary solutions.
• Mentor regional consultants and foster a growth culture.
• Represent BSI through networking and industry events.
