Job summary

BSI is seeking a Principal EHS Consultant - Business Growth Leader to drive growth in the Southeast region, with locations in Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Tampa, or Miami. This senior, client-facing role combines deep safety and EHS expertise with strategic business development to expand our footprint across key industries.

You will lead regional growth, build a personal and regional book of business, mentor teams, and collaborate with national service lines while traveling 30–50% to support

Qualifications

• 15+ years of consulting experience in safety, EHS, or risk management.
• Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in EHS, safety, engineering, science, or related field.
• Proven revenue generation and client growth experience in a professional services setting.
• Established relationships in oil & gas, chemical, manufacturing, energy, or industrial sectors.
• Ability to travel 30–50% and lead regional business development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional growth strategy focused on safety and EHS consulting services in the Southeast region.
• Build, manage, and grow a personal and regional book of business through client development and partnerships.
• Identify, pursue, and win new opportunities; lead proposal development and client presentations.
• Serve as a trusted senior advisor on safety management systems, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Lead and oversee complex consulting engagements with delivery excellence in scope, schedule, and budget.
• Collaborate with national service line leaders to expand multidisciplinary solutions.
• Mentor and develop regional consulting talent and represent BSI in market events.
