Job summary

Young Enterprise is seeking an Educational Partnerships Manager to build partnerships with schools, colleges, youth organisations and community groups – especially in areas where opportunities are hardest to come by.

You’ll deliver programmes through a regional team across Dorset and the South Coast of Hampshire, recruit and train volunteers, and secure local funding to support Inspiring Futures and related initiatives.

Qualifications

• Relationship-builder with teachers, volunteers and community leaders.
• Strong interest in education, social mobility and giving every young person a chance to shine.
• Excellent communication skills in person and in groups.
• Organised and able to juggle multiple projects with humour.
• Self-motivated, adaptable and comfortable working remotely within a regional team.
• Excited by a role combining delivery, relationship-building, fundraising and volunteering.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow relationships with schools, colleges, youth clubs and local communities.
• Focus on expanding reach in areas of deprivation and underrepresentation.
• Deliver and support the rollout of YE programmes in schools and other settings.
• Recruit, train and support volunteers, ensuring they feel valued and inspired.
• Work with the regional team to meet shared goals and celebrate local impact.
• Help secure local funding by supporting fundraising and managing project deliverables.
• Plan events, trade fairs and celebrations for young people.
• Keep accurate records, track impact, and uphold safeguarding.
