Job summary

Urban Strategies LLC is seeking a Regional Marketing Executive to lead partnership development and regional engagement within Community Development. The role focuses on strengthening presence, visibility, and collaborations across faith-based, nonprofit, civic, educational, philanthropic, and business sectors for impact in a defined geography.

The candidate will cultivate strategic relationships, represent the organization in regional networks, and provide local insight to inform engagement

Qualifications

• Experience in partnership development and community engagement within nonprofits or related fields.
• Credibility and relationship-building capacity in the designated community or region.
• Ability to connect people, organizations, and opportunities across sectors.
• Strong strategic and systems-thinking to identify regional opportunities and dynamics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including public speaking.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build, cultivate, and steward relationships with stakeholders and partners in the designated geographic area.
• Identify partnership opportunities and maintain a pipeline aligned with Urban Strategies priorities.
• Strengthen engagement across faith-based, nonprofit, civic, philanthropic, education, business, and community sectors.
• Develop and maintain regional relationship infrastructure for continuity beyond individual staff.
• Represent Urban Strategies at regional meetings and events.
• Increase awareness of programs, mission, and regional presence.
• Provide ecosystem intelligence to leadership and local teams.
• Collaborate to identify and advance regional relationship and growth opportunities.
• Support regional gatherings and convenings to strengthen collaboration.
