Job summary

SmartStop Self Storage is seeking a District Manager to lead multiple stores in North Carolina and drive exceptional customer service and operational results.

The role requires coaching and developing staff, achieving revenue goals, and coordinating store visits across Charlottesville/Raleigh, NC, Indian Land, SC and Richmond, VA. Compensation starts at $85,000 with bonuses up to $120,000 and comprehensive health benefits.

Qualifications

• Multi-unit retail leadership experience required.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed performance standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and motivational skills.
• Ability to lead, develop and coach staff.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for all district store activities and operations impacting customers, staff and goals.
• Meets revenue goals by achieving or exceeding monthly budget expectations.
• Conducts facility audits to ensure standards are met.
• Oversees daily staff activities and scheduling with feedback.
• Recruits, interviews and hires new staff members.
• Leads by example and coaches team towards a shared vision.
• Travels within the designated area to stores and trainings.
