Job summary

SmartStop Self Storage is seeking a District Manager for North Carolina and surrounding markets. Lead multiple stores, drive revenue, and ensure exceptional customer experiences while guiding staff and managing budgets.

The role requires leadership across districts, strong communication, and coaching skills. Travel within district locations is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have multi-unit retail sales/service operations leadership experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees district store activities and operations to achieve goals and protect customer experience.
• Meets revenue goals by achieving or exceeding monthly budget expectations.
• Directs scheduling of staff and provides feedback, coaching and development.
