Job summary

SmartStop Self Storage is seeking a District Manager to oversee multiple stores across North Carolina and adjacent markets. You will travel to Charlottesville/Raleigh, NC, Indian Land, SC, and Richmond, VA to train teams and ensure exceptional customer experiences.

The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and achieving revenue goals while maintaining operational standards across all locations. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and a Monday–Friday schedule is typical.

• Proven ability to meet and exceed performance standards
• Excellent communication and motivational skills
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and coach staff

Responsibilities

• Oversee district store activities and operations to meet company goals
• Achieve revenue goals by meeting monthly budgets
• Conduct facility audits to ensure standards
• Schedule staff and provide feedback and coaching
• Recruit, interview, and hire staff
• Travel within designated area to stores for meetings and training
