Job summary

SmartStop Self Storage is seeking a District Manager primarily in North Carolina to lead multiple stores, drive customer experience, and achieve revenue goals.

You will oversee staffing, scheduling, coaching, and development, while traveling to stores in the region. A base salary of $85,000 with quarterly metrics bonuses and annual bonuses is offered, along with comprehensive healthcare coverage.

Qualifications

• Must have multi-unit retail sales/service operations leadership experience.
• Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed performance standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and coach staff.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for all district store activities and operations impacting customers, staff, and company goals.
• Meets revenue goals by achieving or exceeding monthly budget expectations.
• Conducts facility audits to ensure standards are met.
• Oversees daily activities and scheduling of staff, providing feedback and coaching.
• Recruits, interviews, and hires new staff members.
• Leads by example, creating a culture that motivates teams to excel.
• Travels within the designated area to attend meetings and training sessions.
