Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of its Regional Distribution Service Center in Wentzville, MO.

You will manage a team of ~18 associates across two shifts, ensuring safe, efficient receiving, processing, storing and shipping of flooring products. In this role you will drive continuous improvement, collaborate with Sales and Customer Service, and report performance to the Regional Supply Chain Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with logistics experience.
• Ability to lead a multi-shift distribution team.
• Experience coaching and developing leaders.
• Strong safety, quality and DOT compliance understanding.
• Proven track record of cost efficiency and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee RDC performance, safety, customer experience, and cost efficiency.
• Direct associates across shifts; remove barriers and ensure execution.
• Coach leaders and support growth and engagement.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to resolve issues.
• Report facility performance to Regional Supply Chain Director.
• Maintain safe environment and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
• Drive process improvements and ownership culture.
• Negotiate freight rates and expand Shaw Truck market.
• Optimize transportation equipment and personnel for timely deliveries.
