Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to lead the Belleville, MI Regional Distribution Service Center.

The role supervises 22 associates across two shifts and oversees receiving, processing, shipping, storing and delivering flooring products throughout Michigan. The position emphasizes safety, customer service, and continuous improvement, with cross‑functional collaboration with Sales and Customer Service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1+ year logistics experience, or associate degree with 3+ years in logistics.
• Experience managing hourly associates and coaching leadership teams.
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and meet performance goals.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Customer Service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall performance of the RDC, ensuring safety, customer experience, associate engagement, and cost efficiency.
• Provide clear direction across shifts, removing barriers and ensuring daily execution.
• Coach and develop leadership teams to improve performance and engagement.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to resolve exceptions and uphold service standards.
• Report facility performance to the Director of Regional Operations and identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring DOT compliance and safety protocols.
• Motivate associates to meet facility goals and foster ownership and initiative.
• Expand market presence and negotiate freight rates to secure new business.
• Optimize transportation equipment and personnel for timely delivery and pickup.
