Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Operations Manager to lead the Regional Distribution Center in Elkhart, IN.

You will guide a ~15-person team across two shifts, overseeing receiving, processing, shipping, storing, and delivering flooring products in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with Sales and Customer Service, uphold safety and DOT compliance, and drive continuous improvement while managing costs and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Requires leadership experience managing hourly associates and driving performance.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional interaction.
• Proven ability to coach and develop leadership teams.
• Willingness and ability to travel to regional warehouse locations.
• Experience collaborating with Sales and Customer Service to meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee RDC performance with focus on safety, service, cost, and engagement.
• Direct associates across shifts; remove barriers and ensure daily execution.
• Coach and support team development and engagement.
• Collaborate daily with Sales and Customer Service to resolve exceptions and maintain service standards.
• Report facility performance to Director of Regional Operations and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain safe working environment and ensure DOT compliance.
• Motivate teams to meet goals; implement process improvements and ownership.
• Negotiate freight rates and expand Shaw Truck market while meeting customer needs.
• Optimize transportation equipment and personnel for timely delivery and pickup.
