Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Operations Manager to oversee the Regional Distribution Center in Elkhart, IN. You will lead a team of about 15 associates across two shifts, driving safety, efficiency, and excellent service in a fast-paced logistics environment.

This role reports to the Director of Regional Operations and involves collaboration with Sales and Customer Service. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent logistics experience, with leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of logistics experience.
• Experience working with hourly associates and guiding teams toward goals.
• Ability to coach and develop leadership teams to improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee performance of the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) with focus on safety, customer experience, and cost efficiency.
• Provide clear direction to associates across all shifts; remove barriers and ensure daily execution.
• Coach and support team growth and engagement; reinforce performance expectations.
• Collaborate daily with Sales and Customer Service to resolve exceptions and uphold service standards.
• Report facility performance to Director of Regional Operations and identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain a safe environment and ensure DOT compliance and safety protocols.
• Motivate associates to meet goals and implement process improvements.
• Negotiate freight rates and expand Shaw Truck market presence while meeting customer needs.
• Optimize transportation resource utilization for timely delivery and pickup.
