Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. seeks a Regional Operations Manager to lead the Regional Distribution Center in Elkhart, IN, overseeing roughly 15 associates across two shifts and directing receiving, storage, and shipping of flooring products.

You will drive safety, service quality, and cost efficiency while coaching leaders and coordinating with Sales and Customer Service to meet customer expectations. Regional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year of logistics experience; or associate degree and 3+ years of logistics experience; or HS diploma/GED with 5–7 years in logistics management.
• Experience coaching and developing leadership teams to improve performance.
• Ability to travel regionally to regional warehouse locations as needed.
• Knowledge of DOT compliance and transportation regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) performance, ensuring safety, customer experience, engagement, and cost efficiency.
• Provide clear direction to associates across shifts, removing barriers to execution.
• Coach and develop leadership teams to drive performance and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate daily with Sales and Customer Service to resolve exceptions and uphold service standards.
• Report facility performance to Director of Regional Operations and identify improvement opportunities.
• Negotiate freight rates and expand Shaw Truck market presence to meet customer needs.
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery and pick-up by optimizing transportation resources.
