Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of logistics experience, or an Associate degree with 3 years logistics experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 5–7 years of logistics management/supervisor experience.
• Experience leading hourly associates and guiding teams toward operational goals.
• Coaching leadership teams to improve performance and efficiency, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to meet customer expectations and travel as needed.
• Knowledge of DOT compliance and transportation regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall performance of the Regional Distribution Center (RDC), ensuring safety, customer experience, associate engagement, and cost efficiency.
• Provide clear direction to associates across all shifts, removing operational barriers and promoting effective daily execution.
• Drive accountability by coaching and supporting team development and engagement.
• Collaborate daily with Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve customer exceptions and uphold service standards.
• Report facility performance to the Regional Supply Chain Director and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain a safe working environment with DOT compliance and safety protocols.
• Motivate and empower associates to meet facility goals and implement process improvements.
• Expand market presence by negotiating freight rates and securing new business for Shaw Truck.
• Optimize use of transportation equipment and personnel for timely delivery and pickup.
