Job summary

American Red Cross seeks a Regional Client Care Manager to lead volunteer teams delivering disaster cycle services across Idaho-Montana and beyond. This role combines remote work with regional office presence in Boise, Missoula, or Billings as preferred.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years leading social service or disaster-related programs, and willingness to deploy regionally at least annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience building, mobilizing, leading, and developing volunteer teams to execute social services.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; travel required but minimal.

Responsibilities

• Empower Volunteers: lead and support a diverse volunteer team delivering disaster cycle services.
• Lead the Program: implement disaster cycle services activities within the region.
• Mission Capacity Building: develop disaster volunteers and leadership across functions.
• Engage Community: mobilize communities and engage partners with functional expertise.
• Manage in a Matrix: collaborate with internal partners and volunteers in a matrix structure.
• Know Your Communities: act as disaster subject matter expert for the region.
• Ready to Respond: coordinate disaster relief operations in alignment with OPS.
