Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Regional Client Care Manager for the Idaho-Montana Region. Position is primarily work from home but can be based in any office; Boise, Missoula, or Billings area preferred.

You will lead a volunteer-led team delivering disaster cycle services and ensure knowledge of national policies and program guidance across the region. Join a mission-driven team with opportunities to deploy for disaster relief and to build capacity in communities served, while advancing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience building, mobilizing, leading, and developing volunteer teams for social services programs.
• A valid driver's license and good driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Empower and lead a diverse volunteer team delivering disaster cycle services.
• Lead the program and implement activities within the assigned geographic area or region.
• Develop and support disaster volunteers who are culturally and linguistically representative of the communities served.
• Engage communities and partners to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters and emergencies.
• Collaborate in a matrix management environment with internal partners and volunteers.
• Act as the regional disaster subject matter expert to maximize Red Cross presence and community engagement.
• Initiate and coordinate disaster relief operations within the region as needed.
