Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Regional Client Care Manager for the Idaho-Montana Region with a focus on building and maintaining a volunteer-led team delivering comfort, care, and direct assistance to families after disasters. The role can be remote, with preferred bases in Boise, Missoula, or Billings.

You will ensure the region follows national policies and coordinates the full Client Care program portfolio, including disaster casework, health services, mental health, and spiritual care,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience building, mobilizing, leading, and developing volunteer teams for social services.
• Travel: minimal travel; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Empower volunteers by leading a diverse team across the region.
• Lead program activities within assigned geographic area or region.
• Develop disaster leadership volunteers representing communities served.
• Engage communities and partners to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters.
• Collaborate in a matrix environment with internal partners and volunteers.
• Serve as disaster subject matter expert within the region.
• Coordinate disaster relief operations and readiness activities.
