Job summary

American Red Cross in the United States seeks a Regional Client Care Manager to lead a volunteer-driven team delivering disaster support and services regionally. You will ensure consistency with national policies and support disaster casework, health services, and spiritual care as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years leading and developing volunteer teams for social services programs.
• Travel: Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Empower and lead a diverse volunteer team implementing disaster cycle services in the region.
• Lead program activities within geographic area or region.
• Build leadership capacity among volunteers for disaster readiness, response, and recovery.
• Engage communities and partners to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters.
• Collaborate with internal partners in a matrix management environment.
• Serve as disaster subject matter expert to maximize community engagement.
• Coordinate disaster relief operations in line with the Disaster Cycle Services SOPs.
