Job summary

Encore Global is seeking an Area Director, Venues to lead day-to-day operations and sales for multiple venues in the region. You will drive revenue growth, manage P&L, and oversee venue leaders while delivering world-class service to clients and partners.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on management of AV operations, service delivery, and safety standards across locations. Denver-area, full-time, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of audio-visual experience.
• 5+ years of operations supervisory/management experience in audio-visual.
• 3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience.
• Effective relationship management skills and experience.
• Strong financial acumen, sales planning, forecasting, and CRM.
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to support growth initiatives.
• Proficiency with the use of computer hardware.
• Proficiency with computer software and programs, including the Internet and Microsoft Office.
• Effective leadership abilities and customer satisfaction and people development focus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with venue partners and lead venue leaders in region.
• Oversee daily operations and ensure brand and safety standards across assigned locations.
• Review P&L, forecast revenue, and collaborate with regional leadership on budgets and action plans.
• Lead and mentor venue leaders and cross-functional teams to improve performance.
• Provide input on equipment planning, inventory control, and CAPEX submissions.
