Job summary

Encore seeks a Director, Event Technology II to drive revenue and profitability for designated locations, overseeing operations, sales, and service excellence. You will lead a team to ensure world-class event technology delivery, manage budgets, and maintain strong venue partnerships.

You will report to the Area Director, Venues or RVP, Venues, and collaborate across departments to optimize labor, equipment, and profitability while upholding Encore standards and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of audio-visual experience.
• 2+ years of operations/supervisory experience.
• 3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• Sales experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of audio-visual equipment in a live show environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue and profitability at the location through strong financial management and cost control.
• Oversee daily operations, scheduling, equipment setup, maintenance, and safety.
• Collaborate with regional sales to maximize revenue per event and present quotes.
• Deliver World-Class service by maintaining relationships with customers and venue staff.
• Provide on-site technical leadership and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed.
• Develop and coach team members to meet Encore standards and performance goals.
