Lake Michigan Credit Union is seeking a Retail Regional Director for Southwest Florida to lead Market Leaders and drive growth across Fort Myers and surrounding markets. The role focuses on building high-performing teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional member experiences.

You will guide sales strategies, manage budgets, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate enterprise goals into regional action.

Qualifications

• Five to eight years of similar or related experience.
• A college degree (preferred), or equivalent industry experience.
• Extensive knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Strong leadership and mentorship experience.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to mitigate risk and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Leadership Development & Team Management: Hold Market Leaders accountable for executing initiatives, coaching teams, and building a high-performing culture.
• Operational Oversight & Compliance: Ensure compliance, risk management, and accurate forecasting within policies and regulatory standards.
• Member Experience & Relationship Management: Deepen member relationships through proactive engagement and tailored financial solutions.
• Growth: Develop and execute regional growth plans, drive market expansion, and align with enterprise objectives.
