Job summary

Tuff Shed Inc. is seeking a Regional Director to lead operations across multiple stores and distribution centers in the Northeast region, including Baltimore, MD. This role drives profitability, growth, and market share through strategic planning, budgeting, and leadership development.

You will oversee District/General Managers, ensure OSHA compliance, and oversee merchandising, vendor relations, and regional sales initiatives. Extensive travel is required to manage a broad geographic footprint.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead, coach, motivate, and develop District/General managers and regional leaders.
• Ability to diagnose operational problems, determine root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Strong business judgment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to develop and execute operational, financial, staffing, training, advertising, and growth plans.
• Knowledge of budgeting, profitability, operational efficiency, quality assurance, and performance management.
• Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and commercial customers.
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels, including executives, management, suppliers, customers, employees, business partners, and commercial accounts in a wide range of situations
• Ability to effectively present information orally in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, and employees and if necessary, the public
• Ability to use arithmetic, mathematical, accounting, and financial tools as they apply to Tuff Shed business
• Ability to read, write and understand instructions given orally, in writing and/or in diagram form
• Ability to prepare written correspondence and reports that create a professional image for Tuff Shed

Responsibilities

• Oversee Regional Stores, Selling Centers and Cross Dock locations ensuring growth, efficiency, profitability and market share.
• Develop business, financial, and operational plans for all Stores in the Region including budget, advertising, staffing, and training.
• Assist District/General Managers to maximize Store performance per company standards.
• Travel throughout the Northeast market area; manage locations including Baltimore, MD and other listed cities.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safety standards; supervise PPE, tools safety and safety meetings.
• Forecast budgets and monitor expenditures; contribute to regional display and merchandising standards.
• Lead RSDs/RPDs; conduct performance reviews and support leadership development.
• Partner with sales leadership to achieve retail and product sales goals with partnerships like Home Depot.
• Maintain compliance with policies; manage HR practices and risk management across the region.
