Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. is seeking a Regional Director to oversee a region of retail stores in Columbus, OH. This role drives sales growth, profitability, talent development, and customer experience by developing store managers and ensuring execution of company strategy.

The successful candidate will translate company priorities into regional plans, grow both retail and commercial sales, and lead performance reviews to ensure actionable, measurable improvements across the region.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate is an experienced multi-unit retail leader who combines strategic thinking with effective field leadership, sound financial judgment, and a proven ability to develop leaders who deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Lead leadership development by recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and developing high-performing Store Managers and Zone Managers.
• Set expectations and hold leaders accountable for business results and store execution.
• Strengthen leaders’ ability to analyze their business, make decisions, and follow through on commitments.
• Lead talent reviews, succession planning, and development plans to build a pipeline of future leaders.
• Partner with Human Resources to address performance concerns and improve staffing readiness.
• Create a culture of accountability, ownership, continuous learning, and collaboration.
