Job summary

Continental Properties is seeking a Regional Director for the Michigan market to lead a portfolio of multifamily communities. You will drive occupancy and revenue growth, manage expenses, and guide onsite Community Managers while upholding company values and resident experiences.

Location-based role focusing on Michigan, with a strong emphasis on budgeting, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality product and service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in community management with prior regional leadership
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in property management or related field
• Strong financial acumen with budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management
• Excellent communication and leadership with ability to manage and motivate remote teams
• Proficiency in property management software RealPage, MRI, and Power BI for data analysis and reporting

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits to assess operations, risk management, and maintenance of properties within the region
• Oversee and execute the annual budgeting process, ensuring financials align with company expectations and market conditions
• Lead and mentor Community Managers and Area Managers, supporting their development and fostering a customer-centric culture
• Analyze community performance metrics, develop action plans, and implement strategies to drive occupancy and revenue growth
• Collaborate with construction and marketing teams on lease-up communities to generate leads and ensure timely, high-quality product delivery
