Job summary

Housing Connector is seeking a Regional Managing Director to lead operations across three markets in the Northwest and Mountain regions. You will drive regional performance, oversee market leaders, build partnerships with property partners and public sector stakeholders, and ensure operational excellence.

Reporting to the COO, you will translate strategy into regional priorities, manage budgets, and scale impact while maintaining hands-on leadership when needed.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience across regional operations or multi-market portfolios.
• Experience translating strategy into operating plans with measurable results.
• Strong people leadership, including managing managers and distributed teams.
• Analytical judgment to interpret trends, assess data quality, and allocate resources.
• Experience managing senior-level relationships with partners and public sector.
• Experience securing or expanding public or private funding.
• Operational and financial acumen with budgeting and forecasting.
• Clear, persuasive communication and external representation.

Responsibilities

• Own overall regional performance with market-level goals and priorities.
• Use dashboards and partner feedback to measure results and adjust priorities.
• Build and manage senior relationships with community, property partners, and public sector.
• Strengthen funding relationships and diversify revenue in partnership with leadership.
• Oversee program quality and partner experience across markets.
• Hire, develop, and lead market leaders and teams with accountability.
• Manage regional budgets, staffing, and investment alignment.
• Represent the region externally to government and housing stakeholders.
• Share market insights to inform future expansion and improvements.
