Job summary

Fairway Management, Inc. is seeking an Executive Regional Director to oversee multiple portfolios totaling over 100 locations.

You will lead a team of Regional Managers, drive regional growth, and coordinate with HR, Compliance, and Executive leadership to execute the operational strategy. Ideal candidates bring extensive experience in affordable housing programs, strategic budgeting, and strong leadership to optimize NOI and align with company goals.

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years of management experience in the industry.
• Expert knowledge of LIHTC, HOME, and Section 8 programs and compliance.
• Skilled in budget planning for a large portfolio and in mentoring teams.
• Strong communication, financial, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in multi-family property management software (OneSite or RealPage preferred).

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic growth and align with company values and policies.
• Lead regional managers and set directions for regions.
• Oversee budgeting and capital planning for regions.
• Coordinate with HR, Compliance, and exec leadership on ops strategy.
• Use performance analytics for executive decision making.
• Ensure internal communication and staff engagement with goals.
• Review and adjust operations to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Collaborate with owners and stakeholders on long-term goals.
• Monitor regional properties against financial objectives and adjust variances.
• Lead annual regional budget process and coordinate new property rollouts.
• Coordinate with Development/Construction on new projects and design.
