Job summary

GL Partners Management is seeking a Regional Director to oversee operations, performance and people across a portfolio of communities in the Western U.S. The role requires strategic leadership to drive resident satisfaction, financial results and team development while upholding the company’s values and brand promise.

You will manage budgets, guide property leadership, collaborate with marketing, ensure regulatory compliance, and travel across properties as needed.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in property management, with 3–5 years in direct regional leadership.
• Proven track record overseeing multi-site portfolios and strong budgeting.
• Ability to develop and retain property leadership.
• Willingness to travel across a multi-property region, including overnight stays.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple properties, ensuring high resident satisfaction and retention across the region.
• Lead the full associate lifecycle across your region: recruiting, mentoring, and performance management of property leadership.
• Develop and manage annual budgets; own P&L, general ledger, and financial reporting for company leadership.
• Partner with the marketing team on strategic plans to attract and retain residents.
• Inspect properties regularly for curb appeal, operations, and compliance with Fair Housing laws.
• Respond to escalated resident issues and serve as liaison to the corporate office.
• Oversee emergency preparedness, disaster planning, and risk management across the portfolio.
