Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management in Hobbs, NM is seeking a Regional Dietician to support resident nutrition needs on site. You will interview residents to determine food preferences and ensure accurate Resident Food Profiles are updated in the tray card database.

The role involves coordinating with a licensed Dietician for cases with nutritional or eating issues, while maintaining compliance with safety standards and delivering personalized dietary support to residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition/ dietetics required.
• Food Handler’s Permit required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with little or no supervision.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks well.
• Basic understanding of normal and therapeutic diets and food safety.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience working with a licensed dietician, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview residents and obtain food preferences and complete Resident Food Profile.
• Update resident’s food preference into tray card data base.
• Refer residents to Dietician for any resident’s having nutritional or eating issues.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Registered Dietician or Licensed Dietetian
