Job summary

Opco-Skilled-Management- seeks a friendly, experienced Regional Dietician to assess and plan dietary requirements for residents across Los Alamos, Taos, Las Vegas NM, and surrounding areas. Travel is required for these locations.

The role offers full-time benefits including 401(k), health and dental insurance, life and vision insurance. A bachelor’s degree in dietetics is required; a master's is preferred. Food handler’s permit and basic computer skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or Licensed Dietitian (Registered Dietitian).
• Food Handler's Permit required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks.
• Basic understanding of normal and therapeutic diets and food safety.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience working with a licensed dietitian is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview residents and obtain food preferences and complete Resident Food Profile.
• Update resident's food preference into tray card database.
• Refer residents to Dietician for any nutritional or eating issues.
