Job summary

Zoetis is seeking an Area Business Manager (ABM), US Diagnostics Division, to lead and develop the Diagnostics Sales Consultants and Diagnostic Technical Specialists across the territory. This role emphasizes field coaching, strategy, and strong cross-functional collaboration to drive sales and product launches.

You will travel extensively (50–60%), lead talent development, and coordinate with marketing and regional leadership to optimize performance and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) required.
• Minimum of 3 years people leader/management experience.
• Experience in diagnostics or animal health is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop all colleagues in the Area to meet sales objectives.
• Spend 75% of time on field coaching to strengthen DSCs and DTSs.
• Direct the diagnostics sales team to meet management objectives.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top talent; use performance management tools.
• Develop annual strategic business plans for territories and area.
• Coordinate marketing efforts and balance needs of staff.
• Manage admin duties including operating expenses and reviews.
• Participate in product launches and regional sales meetings.
• Engage in special projects as directed by leadership.
