Job summary

Maryland Judiciary’s Administrative Office of the Courts, Judicial Information Systems, in Annapolis, MD, seeks a Regional Desktop Support Technician to deliver high-quality IT support for over 5,000 employees. The role blends on-site and remote work, traveling among counties, and coordinating Tier 1/2 support across JIS IT systems.

Based in Annapolis with frequent travel, the technician will manage incidents, configure hardware/software, and assist with upgrades, procurement, and life-cycle IT

Qualifications

• Requires a 2-year degree/Associate degree and 4 years I.T. or desktop support experience.
• Experience in incident troubleshooting, account management, and customer service is required.
• Valid driver’s license for intra-state travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and 2 support across the Maryland Judiciary, on-site and remote.
• Coordinate with end users and JIS groups to resolve IT issues.
• Assist with JIS upgrades, rollouts and IT projects.
