Job summary

CyrusOne is seeking a Regional Operations Director to lead facility operations across all data centers in the region. You will manage internal and external teams, supervise staff, and drive service delivery for key accounts with strong emphasis on customer experience and operational excellence.

Responsibilities include overseeing environmental, capacity, asset, security, and regulatory processes, plus budgeting, reporting, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in managing critical facilities, preferably in a data center environment.
• 10+ years supervisory or personnel management experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field (equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree).
• Demonstrates strong customer service skills and takes ownership of the customer experience.
• Can proactively identify potential customer issues; communicate them to appropriate parties and resolve.
• Ability to develop and document procedures and train personnel on the procedures.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple concurrent priorities.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to operational excellence and process improvement.
• Excellent organizational, time management, communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work well with all levels of people within the organization.
• Takes ownership for business performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility operations teams of all data centers in the region, managing internal and external resources.
• Provide Implementation Management support for key accounts to ensure service delivery.
• Manage employee lifecycle: recruitment, reviews, training, and performance actions.
• Review customer contracts and orders; ensure adherence to terms.
• Coordinate with vendors and monitor project costs for implementations.
• Set up environmental monitoring and manage day-to-day air, power, fire, and access operations.
• Lead capacity and asset management reporting; ensure KPI visibility and accuracy.
• Produce daily shift reports and periodic performance reports.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field

10+ years supervisory or personnel management experience

7+ years’ experience in managing critical facilities

Strong customer service skills and ownership of customer experience
