Job summary

CyrusOne is seeking a Data Center Operations Manager to oversee data center environments, systems, and personnel, ensuring reliable uptime and efficient facility management.

The role covers environmental and capacity management, maintenance planning, and coordination with security and operations teams. Bachelor's degree and relevant certifications are preferred; patriotic to site safety and customer service a must.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; related field preferred.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical equipment operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of cooling and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot critical infrastructure using test equipment and monitoring tools.
• Develop and implement maintenance activities for critical infrastructure.
• Report on SLA-required activities and communicate with customers.
• Oversee capacity reporting and future thresholds for the facility.
• Coordinate with Security on access and incident resolution.
• Manage building services and sub-contractor agreements.
• Operate and maintain cable plant, fiber entry, raised floors, and fire/safety systems.
• Document operational standards, procedures, and vendor relations.
• Support customer implementations and ensure smooth onboarding.
