Job summary

CyrusOne is seeking an Data Center Operations Manager to ensure optimal performance of data center environments, systems and personnel. You will guide administrative and maintenance functions and coordinate with Security and Operations teams.

Responsibilities include managing critical infrastructure, capacity reporting, and service delivery processes. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with electrical and mechanical equipment operations and maintenance (critical infrastructure).
• Experience with building automation, monitoring and control systems.
• Proven project management experience in facilities or data center environments.
• Strong leadership and ability to supervise cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day data center and facility operations, including cooling, electrical, and security systems.
• Troubleshoot critical infrastructure issues using test equipment and monitoring tools.
• Plan and implement maintenance for critical infrastructure and general facility upkeep.
• Coordinate with Operations and Sales to communicate environmental issues to customers and report SLA activities.
• Manage capacity reporting and future capacity forecasting within the facility.
• Oversee access control, security coordination, and incident post-mortems.
• Direct building services (janitorial, grounds, plumbing, etc.) and manage subcontractor agreements.
• Maintain cable plant, fiber entry, raised floors, and automation/control systems.
• Develop operational standards, maintenance schedules, training, testing procedures, and vendor relationships.
• Establish environmental monitoring and ensure service delivery monitoring is in place.
• Maintain asset tracking processes and support customer implementations.
