Job summary

CyrusOne seeks a Director, Development Management to lead multi-site data center development activities across regions. You will coordinate land acquisition, due diligence, permits, incentives, utilities, engineering, sales and construction to ensure projects meet underwriting assumptions and reach financial close.

In this role you will align cross-functional teams, manage external consultants and contractors, drive governance and reporting, and coach Development Project Managers to sustain

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years in data center or mission-critical development.
• Bachelor's degree required; fields include real estate, engineering, finance, planning, law or project management.
• Experience with site selection, due diligence, permitting, zoning, utility coordination.
• Strong negotiation and cross-functional leadership to drive consensus.
• Ability to manage multiple complex development projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Leads execution of development management strategy across regional or multi-site levels.
• Plans, manages and oversees land, entitlements, incentives, power readiness and construction workflows.
• Owns cross-functional alignment with land, engineering, legal, tax, procurement and sales.
• Ensures projects meet financial close and commercial requirements.
• Coordinates due diligence, permitting strategy, infrastructure planning and governance.
• Delivers updates, risk registers, schedules and milestones to senior leadership.
• Builds relationships with utilities, municipalities, landowners and external partners.
• Drives repeatable processes and analytics in line with global standards.
• Coaches and mentors Development Project Managers and analysts.
