Job summary

Continental is seeking a Regional Senior Cybersecurity Coordinator to drive the implementation and continuous improvement of cybersecurity standards across the region. You will translate global rules into regional plans, coordinate with central teams, and support risk management, awareness programs, and incident response.

The role requires strong communication, collaboration across functions, and willingness to travel, with relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology plus 2 years’ relevant experience OR 5+ years relevant experience if no degree
• Advanced knowledge of Cybersecurity technologies
• Good knowledge of network technologies (Network, Firewall architecture)
• Intercultural sensitivity
• Interpersonal skills to work with various stakeholders
• Fluent in English
• Writing skills to communicate information effectively to different target groups
• Good (self-)organizational skills
• Willingness to travel around 10%

Responsibilities

• Act as regional interface between global and local cybersecurity teams
• Translate global cybersecurity rules into actionable regional plans
• Coordinate rollout of cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures
• Assist with audits and remediation of findings (e.g., TISAX)
• Coordinate regional rollout of global cybersecurity initiatives and projects
• Support security awareness programs, phishing campaigns, and training
• Maintain regional cybersecurity cost tracking and budget visibility
• Travel to locations to support regional risk management activities
