Job summary

Accenture is seeking a seasoned cybersecurity leader to drive complex engagements across multiple industries. You will serve as the primary client liaison, shape security programs, and guide teams through risk assessments, roadmaps, and implementations.

You will mentor analysts, collaborate with domain experts, and manage budgets and timelines while delivering measurable improvements in data protection, threat intelligence, and cloud security. Travel may be extensive depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 12 years of work experience; associate degree with minimum 6 years of experience.
• Minimum 5 years of cyber security experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience delivering security solutions with leading vendors.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with Oil & Gas, Utilities, Chemicals, and/or Mining Industries.
• Ability to lead a team with minimal direction.
• Previous consulting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Comfortable with C‑Level interaction.
• Desire to mentor and educate others.
• Experience across multiple cybersecurity domains (e.g., threat intelligence, vulnerability management, data protection, cloud security, OT security).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex information security engagements, serving as the primary point of contact for project teams.
• Drive project delivery execution, coordinating with client security stakeholders, business and IT stakeholders, Accenture domain experts, and third‑party teams.
• Mentor and develop analysts, senior analysts, and consultants.
• Define and deliver cybersecurity strategy, program planning, operating model design, and implementation, including cyber risk assessments.
• Lead engagement lifecycle activities – shaping, scoping, budgeting, timelines, risk and issue management, and client expectations.
• Work directly with clients to design and implement program strategies for data protection, insider risk, vulnerability management, security operations, analytics, application security, cloud security, OT security, and digital identity.
• Analyze client security posture to produce current state assessments, gap analyses, and strategic implementation roadmaps.
• Partner with industry teams to develop new and differentiated go‑to‑market solutions.
• Establish trusted relationships with clients at all levels, from executive sponsors to technologists and business teams.
• Travel may be required, varying from 0% to 100% depending on business needs.
