Job summary

Regions is seeking a Cyber Security Architect to advance its security program and architecture. You will develop strategic security architecture, collaborate with key stakeholders, and guide secure development practices across systems and applications.

The role requires advanced technical skills, leadership of complex projects, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations. Onsite work is expected at multiple locations in the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 10+ years in cyber security, SDLC, or security architecture
• Or High School Diploma/GED with 14+ years in cyber security and security architecture
• Experience designing and implementing cyber security solutions is preferred

Responsibilities

• Develops strategic cyber security architecture and standards aligned with Regions’ IT strategy
• Acts as subject-matter expert and provides advisory services to business and IT leadership
• Collaborates with Enterprise Architecture and App Dev to enhance security posture
• Designs security architecture, evaluates risk, and approves production deployments
• Ensures compliance with regulatory policies and tracks metrics across teams
• Leads junior architects and develops necessary skills within the team
• Supports complex, significant business projects with consultative input
