Job summary

Continental seeks a Regional Senior Cybersecurity Coordinator to drive the implementation of global cybersecurity standards across the region and ensure alignment with local practices. The role requires coordinating with global teams, driving risk management, incident response, and security awareness initiatives.

You will translate global cybersecurity rules into regional plans, guide local teams, and track metrics and costs to maintain a strong security posture across the US region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent
• Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity technologies
• Good knowledge of network technologies (network, firewall architecture)
• Intercultural sensitivity and collaboration with diverse teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to travel ~10% and support relocation if needed

Responsibilities

• Governance, standards & compliance: support rollout, updates, and audit readiness for regional cybersecurity practices.
• Regional coordination & stakeholder alignment: translate global rules into actionable regional plans and provide guidance to local teams.
• Technical & operational support: lead vulnerability, incident management, and risk management processes in the region.
• Project & initiative coordination: drive rollout of global cybersecurity initiatives with regional alignment.
• Awareness, training & culture: support security awareness programs and trainings across the region.
• Reporting & metrics: compile regional cybersecurity KPIs, risk, and compliance reporting.
• Cost tracking & implementation: support budgeting, cost visibility, and procurement for cybersecurity activities
