Job summary

Daimler Truck Financial Services is seeking a Senior Small Business Credit Analyst/Manager to support the Small Business Credit Strategy by reviewing and implementing best practices for credit buying. You will guide analysts, improve portfolio performance, and collaborate with DTFS teams to drive growth, including NASC Mexico support.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive/finance, French language ability, and leadership experience. Hybrid schedule in Charlotte, NC; relocation not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Automotive or Commercial Finance.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in French.
• Minimum of 2 years coaching, mentoring, and management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC skills.
• Ability to collect and analyze data, identify trends, and interpret complex information.

Responsibilities

• Review credit policies and procedures for efficiencies for the Small Business Credit department. Communicate credit risk strategies to direct reports and ensure adherence to local and global credit rules.
• Provide KPI monthly reports for analysis of portfolio performance and adjust strategies to meet goals.
• Provide superior service to DTFS dealer body and manage escalated dealer calls; travel as needed to regions.
• Collaborate with Collections and Remarketing to review post mortem and losses; identify trends and downturn impacts.
• Attend monthly portfolio performance and pricing meetings; work with Credit Manager on overall strategies.
• Review credit deals up to $1,000,000 outside Limits of Authority for Analysts.
• Provide one-on-one coaching to analysts; schedule team to balance workload and hybrid schedule.
