Job summary

Daimler Truck Financial Services USA LLC is seeking a strategic Compensation Specialist to lead regional compensation initiatives across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The role partners with leaders and HR to implement market-competitive structures and governance.

The ideal candidate will combine data-driven decision making with strong communication skills and expertise in Workday to support executive and sales compensation within a global matrix environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in HR, Business, Finance or related field; 5 years of relevant experience or 8 years in lieu of degree.
• Strong understanding of compensation principles, market pricing, and regulatory requirements in North America.
• Experience with organizational design and executive compensation.
• Proficiency in Workday and advanced Excel/data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage compensation programs across the US, Canada, and Mexico in alignment with combined structures and guidelines.
• Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.
• Collaborate with Talent Management and HR leadership on executive compensation planning and governance.
• Administer compensation activities including salary offers, job evaluations, incentives, reviews, and surveys in the region.
• Support executive and sales compensation as needed in alignment with DTNA/DTFS and Daimler Truck North America.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and compensation regulations.
• Communicate processes, deadlines, and changes to leaders and employees.
