Job summary

Merck & Co. seeks a Growth and Improvement minded Regional Medical Scientific Director (MSL) in Respiratory - COPD to drive strategic priorities.

You will liaison between the scientific community and the company, delivering balanced, factual information to Scientific Leaders and addressing their questions about company programs and trials. As a credentialed leader (PhD/MD/DO/etc), you will support Scientific Exchange, Research, and Scientific Congress activities, guide field teams, and ensure

Qualifications

PhD/PharmD/DNP/DO/MD required for regional MSL level role.
Minimum 3 years of relevant therapeutic area experience beyond terminal degree, e.g., COPD/Respiratory.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to conduct doctoral-level discussions with external stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of FDA, OIG, HIPAA regulations in pharma industry.

Responsibilities

Engage with national and regional SLs to share company-approved medical information.
Lead scientific discussions and maintain medical contact within the company.
