Job summary

Merck in the United States is seeking a Growth and Improvement minded Regional Medical Scientific Director (MSL) in Respiratory - COPD to drive our Strategic Operating Priorities. You will engage in bidirectional scientific exchange, provide factual information on non-product areas, and liaise between the scientific community and the Company to support approved and developing trials.

Qualifications

• PhD, PharmD, DNP, DO, or MD required with relevant field expertise.
• Minimum of 3 years of therapeutic-area experience beyond terminal degree, COPD/Respiratory.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and networking skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops professional relationships with national and regional SLs for access to information.
• Conducts peer-to-peer scientific discussions and maintains medical contact within the company.
• Addresses scientific questions and directs inquiries to appropriate resources.
• Maintains current knowledge of AOI in COPD/Respiratory.
• Leads Scientific Exchange, Research and Congress Support activities.
