Merck & Co. is seeking a Growth- and Improvement-minded Regional Medical Scientific Director (MSL) in Respiratory - COPD. You will engage with national and regional SLs, discuss scientific questions, and support investigator-initiated research within AOIs.

The role emphasizes leadership, scientific exchange, and alignment with GMSA strategy. The candidate should be credentialed (PhD/PharmD/DNP/MD/DO) with 3+ years in COPD/Respiratory, strong stakeholder relations, and proficiency in MS Office

Qualifikationen

• Credentialed physician-scientist or equivalent (PhD/PharmD/DNP/DO/MD) in Medical Affairs.
• Minimum 3 years of COPD/Respiratory experience beyond degree.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to conduct doctoral-level discussions with external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of FDA, OIG, HIPAA regulations relevant to pharma.

Aufgaben

• Engage in scientific exchange with national and regional SLs to share approved medical information.
• Lead research discussions and support investigator-initiated studies within AOIs.
• Support scientific congresses and data exchanges for Company and competitors.
• Gather insights to understand scientific needs and priorities of SLs and patients.
• Promote inclusive leadership and mentor field medical team members.
