Zusammenfassung

Merck & Co. is seeking a Regional Medical Scientific Director (MSL) in Respiratory – COPD to advance strategic medical affairs. The role engages in scientific exchange with SLs, supports investigator-initiated research, and ensures alignment with GMSA policies.

Travel up to 50% within the North East region is required, with relocation not indicated. The incumbent will lead or support research discussions, site engagements, and scientific congress activities while upholding ethical guidelines and

Qualifikationen

PhD/PharmD/DNP/DO/MD required.
Minimum 3 years in a COPD/Respiratory therapeutics field beyond degree.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication and networking skills.
Ability to conduct doctoral-level discussions with external stakeholders.
Strong familiarity with FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and pharma regulations.

Aufgaben

Develops professional relationships with national/regional SLs for access to approved medical information.
Conducts peer-to-peer scientific discussions and provides medical contact within the company.
Responds to SL inquiries and routes questions outside scope to appropriate resources.
Maintains current knowledge of AOI and therapeutic area developments.
