Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. seeks a Contracts and Commercial Risk professional to lead contract negotiations, manage risk, and ensure compliance across the deal lifecycle. You will support bids, strengthen governance, and analyze contracts to align with customer needs.

Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating T&Cs, NDAs, and consortium agreements, coordinating with Tax, Legal, Finance, and Operations, and driving mitigation strategies on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Legal, Engineering or related field with commercial operations and contract management experience.
• Proven ability to lead and close T&Cs negotiations during ITO/Pre-Award phase with cross-functional review.
• Strong collaboration with Sales to develop competitive, risk-balanced proposals and clear communication.
• English fluent; Spanish/Portuguese advantageous; remote work within the region may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate customer and partner contractual documents, including T&Cs and NDAs.
• Assess, manage, and document commercial risks to maintain GE risk profile using available tools.
• Lead contract structuring and commercial models with Tax, Legal, Finance, and Operations.
• Own and strengthen commercial operations, risk governance, and KPI-driven actions.
• Support sales and ITO in developing proposals, identifying risks/opportunities, and mitigation.
• Provide end-to-end contractual support for large projects, including start-up, subcontracts, and claims.
