Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Government Contract Specialist to lead contract risk management for commercial and government projects within Grid Solutions. You will drive risk reviews, deal desks, and negotiations, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and 52.245 government property controls.

Responsibilities include coordinating property management audits, maintaining documentation, and guiding cross-functional teams through the ITO lifecycle toward compliant, optimized deals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years in government and commercial contract formation and execution.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, DEARS, and government contract flow-down requirements.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex contractual language, including NDAs and MOUs.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposals, risk reviews, deal desks, and negotiate terms to align with Grid Solutions’ goals.
• Manage government property requirements, audits, and 100% accountability per FAR 52.245.
• Coordinate contract governance and handover to orders/receipts during ITO and OTR phases.
• Drive strategy, operational excellence, and cross-functional alignment across Legal, Finance, Tax, and Operations.
