Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Regional Collections Associate to manage a regional portfolio, minimize Days Revenue Outstanding, and coordinate with Operations, Rental, and Sales leaders to protect financial interests and preserve customer relationships.

Ideal candidates will analyze disputes, drive terminations when needed, and provide regular receivables updates. This role emphasizes collaboration, problem solving, and strong communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree in business, accounting, financial or related field preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, financial or related field preferred.
• One year or more in commercial collections required.
• Two years or more in accounting/financial with the H.S. Diploma required.
• 0 to One year in accounting/financial with the Associate's/Bachelor's degree required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of commercial collections process intermediate required.
• MS Office Suite intermediate required.

Responsabilités

• Contacts customers to solicit payment and negotiate cessation of services.
• Obtain information on customer deductions and billing issues.
• Remediate customer payment terms and determine contract defaults.
• Provide regular updates on receivables to Finance, Operations, Sales, and Rental leadership.
• Participates in projects, committees or focus groups related to enhancements in Collections, Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, and Billing.
• Develop documentation and user manuals.
• Mitigate losses and improve receivables metrics and save customer relationships.
• Analyze financial/credit/operational data to plan and execute collections strategies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
