Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Regional Collections Associate to manage a regional portfolio’s collection activities, maintaining open communication with customers and driving improvements in Days Revenue Outstanding.

The role focuses on reducing bad debt and ensuring service continuity while upholding Ryder’s financial interests. You will collaborate with Operations Leadership, Rental Leadership and the Sales Team to resolve disputes, analyze data, negotiate terms, and preserve customer

Qualifications

• One year or more in commercial collections.
• Two years or more in accounting/financial with the HS Diploma.
• Knowledge of commercial collections process intermediate.
• MS Office Suite intermediate.

Responsibilities

• Contacts customers to solicit payment, negotiate cessation of services and determine defaults.
• Analyze disputes and deductions to resolve amounts due to Ryder.
• Provide regular updates to Finance, Operations, Sales and Rental leadership.
• Participates in projects related to Collections, Accounts Receivable and Billing.
• Develop documentation and user manuals as directed.
• Mitigate losses, improve receivables metrics and save customer relationships.
