Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Regional Collections Associate in the United States to manage a regional portfolio, communicate with customers, and drive cash performance by lowering DRO and reducing delinquencies.

The role collaborates with Operations Leadership, Rental Leadership, and the Sales Team to resolve disputes, tighten terms, and protect Ryder's financial interests while maintaining customer relationships.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in business, accounting, finance or related field.
• One year or more in commercial collections is required, with increasing responsibility.
• MS Office Suite proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Contacts customers to solicit payment and negotiates cessation of services.
• Analyzes disputes and deductions to resolve amounts due and improve cash flow.
• Provides regular receivables updates to Finance, Operations, Sales and Rental leadership.
• Participates in projects and focus groups related to Collections and Billing.
